Dr. Carolina Are, AKA Blogger On Pole, is a blogger, activist and researcher with a PhD in Criminology. Performing under the name Carolina Hades, she's also a pole and twerk instructor and dancer with a passion for headbanging, split-dropping and spinning like a tornado while putting on a show to rock and metal.
She's behind various petitions, campaigns and academic papers to fight for more equal moderation of nudity and sexuality on social media, having been one of the founders of #EveryBODYVisible in 2019 and having created a recent petition against Instagram's terms of use that was signed by over 100,000 people.
